Frequently Asked Questions
The system size depends on your monthly electricity consumption. Divide your monthly bill amount by Rs. 800-1000 to get an approximate kW requirement. For example, if your bill is Rs. 4,000/month, a 4-5 kW system would be suitable. Our team will calculate the exact size during the free site assessment.
Net metering is a billing arrangement where excess solar electricity you generate is exported to the grid. Your bidirectional meter tracks both import and export. At the end of the billing cycle, you only pay for the net electricity consumed. If you export more than you import, the credits roll over to the next month. We handle the entire net metering application process.
Standard on-grid systems shut down during power cuts for safety reasons (anti-islanding protection). If you need power during outages, we recommend a hybrid system with battery backup. This gives you uninterrupted power supply while still enjoying net metering benefits when the grid is available.
Yes! We install on RCC flat roofs, sloped tin/sheet roofs, tiled roofs, and even elevated structures. Different mounting solutions are used for each roof type. The only requirements are adequate shadow-free space and structural strength to support the panel weight (approximately 15-20 kg per square meter).
Residential installations (1-10 kW) typically take 2-3 days. Commercial systems (10-100 kW) may take 1-2 weeks. The complete process from site survey to grid connection (including net metering approval) usually takes 4-6 weeks. We keep you informed at every step.
Under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, residential consumers can get: Rs. 30,000/kW for systems up to 2 kW, Rs. 18,000/kW for systems of 2-3 kW, and a flat Rs. 78,000 for systems above 3 kW (up to 10 kW). We handle the complete subsidy application and documentation process for you.
